As Christians, we are all too aware that we experience struggles. Who or what are we struggling against? Paul tells us to put on the armor of God. What exactly does he mean by that? After being fully clad in our spiritual armor, you’d expect him to yell, “charge!” But instead, he tells us to “stand.” What kind of soldier “stands” instead of “charging?” And what does victory look like for the believer? All these different pieces of armor seem a bit complicated. Are we vulnerable if we’re missing just one of these pieces?
