Kathy Kambic dives into the Word of God and helping us to recognize the Holy Spirit. Think for a minute upon the definition of the word “Recognize.” You will find its meaning has two components.
1) to ACKNOWLEDGE the existence, validity, or legality
2) to IDENTIFY (someone or something) from having encountered them before.
Jesus promised the Father would send us the Holy Spirit to comfort, counsel, and lead us into all truth. We, therefore, must “Recognize” Him. To be a Spirit-led people, we must acknowledge and identify Him. We must recognize and identify His work in our lives, our church, and our world.
