Have you ever tried to blow up a balloon and reach a point of resistance only to give up and have only a deflated balloon to show for your efforts? If the balloon is fully inflated, it is hours of fun, but when we believe there is not enough hot air to go around, we miss out on what could have been. This Sunday, we dive into the fourth chapter of the Apostles Paul’s letter to the church of Philippi, where he uncovers what I believe is a roadblock to our attempts at serving. It’s called a “Scarcity Mentality,” and it is plaguing our churches today. Let’s reclaim together that God’s provision is for all, no matter what state we find ourselves in.
